Easy Five-Ingredient Tahini Recipe

Tahini can be served on its own as a dip, or used to top Hummus or inside the eggplant classic baba ghanoush or as an ingredient in halva. The traditional toasted seasame seed condiment as bee around the Mediterranean and Middle East for thousands of years.It’s an incredibly healthy component of the Israeli Mediterranean Diet, as it contains more protein than milk and most nuts. INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup sesame paste (or all-natural tahini paste)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and stir in cold water
  2. Salt to taste and add lemon to taste
