The secret to Israel’s low rate of peanut allergies is its best-selling snack food – Bamba

Several major studies have been corroborated by some of the largest health-based organizations in the world showing the massive benefits of early peanut ingestion against developing the deadly allergy.

Defeating Peanut Allergies One Bamba at a Time

Did you know: According to the Center for Disease Control, 1 in 13 children suffer from a food allergy? And that in the United States alone, food allergies in children have risen by 70% under the age of 18 between 1997 and 2016? How about, according to the Mayo Clinic, that peanut allergies are some of the most life-threatening allergies on the planet?

Thankfully, an Israeli snack can actually reduce these risks by up to 80%! Already purchased by 90% of Israeli homes, the delicious (in our opinion!) peanut-flavored snack Bamba, when ingested as a baby, can actually cut the risk of developing these allergies significantly.

In fact, this product has become so successful that it is becoming the Jewish State’s latest major export with an added 1 million bags being made daily to address the demand!

Defeating Peanut Allergies One Bamba at a Time

Already Israel’s best-selling snack, breakthrough studies specifically named Bamba as helping to protect children from developing the deadly peanut allergies. Bamba, manufactured by the company Osem, was listed in the Guidelines For The Prevention Of Peanut Allergy In The United States: Report Of The National Institute Of Allergy And Infectious Diseases. The publication of LEAP, or Learning Early About Peanut Allergy (LEAP) scientific study, proved that the low rates of peanut allergy among Israeli children were due directly to high levels of peanut consumption (specifically Bamba) during infancy. These studies were further buttressed by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases-funded Immune Tolerance Network.

After making global headlines, it looks as if a popular Israeli snack will indeed change the way the world views food allergies. Osem already has a goal in place to produce 1.5 million bags per day.
The kosher-certified snack that tastes like Cap’n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch is already in Publix (the major grocery chain here in Florida) and we look forward to seeing it in grocery stores all across America soon!
